Thank you for giving your child the outstanding gift of water safety and fun in the water.
Thank you for making swimming a priority over ballet, soccer, gymnastics and so many other amazing extracurricular activities available for kids today.
Thank you for giving your child the remarkable gift of water safety and then for sticking around for them to learn swim strokes.
Being able to confidently participate in school swimming carnivals is so uplifting to children. A child with a comfortable stroke is always congratulated on their beautiful swimming, even if they don’t place in a race. I so often hear from parents after a school carnival ‘they may not have won but their stroked looked so beautiful in the pool and they had fun.’
Thank you for giving your child the chance to use the water for exercise. In learn to swim or squad or as an adult, being comfortable in your swim stroke is a tremendous gift to your relationship with exercise and fitness.
This learning to swim malarkey can be a tricky business. Learning to swim takes tenacity, it takes commitment from a child and from a parent and it takes time. So one last time, thank you for trusting my team and me to take your children on their swim development journey. There are so many different parts of water survival and swim stroke that a child needs to master for it all to be put together as a whole; we try to balance correction and praise to make the lesson enjoyable. We couldn’t do this without your commitment to bring your little swimmer week after week.
